Cybercrime, Detective Senior Constable Queensland Police Service

Andrew Hollywood is a Detective Senior Constable currently working in the Cybercrime unit of the Queensland Police Service. Andrew Joined the QPS in 2008, moving into a detective role in 2013, within a regional branch of the Child Protection and Investigation Unit. Over the following 9 years, Andrew developed an interest in technology enabled investigations, working for a period of time with the world-renowned ARGOS online child abuse task force, prior to moving into the newly established Queensland Police Cybercrime Unit in 2022. Andrew is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Crypto Practitioners Working Group and is currently working with other members of the group designing a law enforcement approach to cryptocurrency related offending.
