Brian Jones, co-founder of strategy consultancy Atlantic Cedar, is an experienced senior executive, event chair, public speaker, and entrepreneur whose career has spanned multiple business sectors at the highest levels.

Throughout his forty-year career he has spent sixteen years on the executive boards of FTSE100 companies. A four-time FTSE100 CIO, renowned Commercial and Transformation Leader, and successful Business President, Brian’s executive leadership roles have included Chief Information Officer at Allied Domecq, Head of Business Transformation at Burberry, Chief Commercial Officer at Smiths Group, and President of Smiths Detection to name just a few.

His passion for great leadership is evident in the way in which he helps other professionals to fulfil their aspirations for themselves and for their organisations, and his nine-box “Helping Leaders Get Better” framework for inspiring ‘followship’ has helped and motivated professionals around the world to become better leaders.

Motivated by his growing concerns regarding why things continue to “go wrong” in businesses, despite improved controls and processes, he became actively involved in the development of “The Testing Point” shortly after inception. Through Atlantic Cedar, he is now responsible for promoting its use in a variety of settings. At various times Brian has presented his insights at alumni events for his alma mater Harvard Business School, at London Business School, and in conference settings internationally.

Hosted in four parts throughout the event, you are invited to tune into the story of the fictitious Ninebanks PLC and their subdivision Leadgate, at a time where their troubles are accumulating… poor results, a dramatic resignation, questionable accounting, claims of bullying and harassment, and a potentially serious environmental issue. Each screening will be followed by a mini workshop.
