Ingram Spencer is a highly accomplished cybersecurity professional with 13 years of industry experience, specialising in endpoint, network, and data security. He is currently employed by global cybersecurity solutions provider Varonis, as the Southern Regional Sales Manager for Australia.

Ingram started his career with IBM in the UK, as an analyst for its Defence and Security team. Following this, Ingram joined UK-based cloud security provider Mimecast, where he managed strategic accounts and experienced the company’s growth from a start-up to a billion-dollar business.

Ingram then relocated to Melbourne, Australia in 2014, where he joined Symantec in a cloud specialist role with a focus on email security. In his four years at the company, Ingram developed a strong ability to create and drive sales strategies and quickly transitioned to an Enterprise Account Manage, where he was tasked with selling Symantec’s solutions portfolio including Threat Protection, Information / Identity Protection, Cybersecurity Services and Professional Services.

In 2018, Ingram joined Varonis in his current role as the Southern Regional Sales Manager, delivering the company’s data security and analytics solutions with a focus on the healthcare sector.

Ingram is passionate about raising awareness on unstructured data in the healthcare sector, and how organisations can gain powerful insights and benefits from this data using AI-powered analytics tools.

Over the course of his career, Ingram has been recognised for his leadership and negotiation skills, his ability to improve sales operations and build positive partnerships in the technology industry.

Ingram holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Bournemouth University, England.
