Peter Kavanagh

Joined the IAA in 1991 as an Air Traffic Controller. Held Area Control Radar Ratings until 2004 before moving into the Operational Requirements Domain.

       Peter now manages the IAA Operational Requirements Domain which consists of a number of current and ex-controllers and together are responsible for

       Operational Requirements, System Specification, Functional testing, transition to and commissioning of all systems used by the IAA Air Traffic Controllers.

       Peter was also the Project Manager for the IAA Remote Tower trials and was the primary author of the IAA Remote Tower Trials report which won the prestigious EU SES award for the

       Remote Tower trials during which the IAA were the first in the world to perform live Multiple Airport Control by a single Air Traffic Controller.
