12:00 PM CASE STUDY: Working with Several Departments to Digitise Processes within the ATO
Claire O’Neill will deliver a case study on the work taking place within the ATO to deliver a digital service strategy. Working with the DTA to pilot their new digital platform, this will see citizens able to request tax file numbers online, amongst many other digitized initiatives. Claire will look at the security measures undergone within specific branches of the ATO for facilitating these types of projects, as well as the importance of working with stakeholders and citizens.
- Setting up new initiatives to digitize citizen processes
- Determining the most convenient and cost effective approach for citizens in developing service portals
- Understanding how digitizing services can improve long term departmental costs
