Mr. Heo’s research focuses on power and renewables and clean energy technology, covering Southeast Asia and South Korea. In his current role at S&P Global, he has authored articles on topics such as offshore wind investment, cross-border electricity project in ASEAN, clean hydrogen costs and emissions, green bond and corporate renewable procurement in AsiaPacific. He has more than 15 years of experience in consultancy and industry, with a strong background in policy research, strategy development, and financial analysis in the energy sector. Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Heo was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, where he led the Power & Utilities consulting practice. Prior to that, he held posts at the Global Green Growth Institute, Bloomberg, and Procter & Gamble. Mr. Heo holds a Bachelor of Arts in agricultural economics from Seoul National University, South Korea, and a Master of Science in environmental policy and regulation from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom
This workshop focuses on a realistic pathway for developing offshore wind in the region.
