Dany St Pierre

Dany St-Pierre joined the Cospas-Sarsat Programme as Principal Technical Officer in 2006. As part of the Cospas-Sarsat Secretariat, he is responsible for the coordination of the technical aspects of the Cospas-Sarsat Programme. Mr St-Pierre authored more than 100 papers which were presented and reviewed at various Cospas-Sarsat meetings. Within the Cospas-Sarsat Programme, he pioneered the concept of Triggered-in-flight ELTs and has helped coordinating various actions from Cospas-Sarsat Participants on this matter since 2010. He is a member of various ICAO, RTCA and Eurocae committees working on the concept of Autonomous Distress Tracking and ELT-DTs.
