Mareike Collmann

Mareike Collmann studied civil engineering at the Leibniz University Hannover (Dipl.-Ing., 2007). After her studies, she stayed at university and started as research associate at the Institute for Steel Construction. She received her doctoral degree from the Leibniz University Hannover on the fatigue design of thick-walled welded joints by local fatigue approaches. In 2015, she joined the Fraunhofer IWES at the Support Structures Department in Hannover. Again on the part of the university, she has been responsible for coordinating the experimental investigations and the safe execution of the tests in the Test Center Support Structures in Hanover since 2019.
