Ralf Behnke
Director Intellectual Property UMICORERalf Behnke joined Umicore in 2017. In his role as Director IP he is responsible for the strategic and pro-active IP management across the Umicore Group. Ralf leads an IP team of more than twenty experts world-wide. Together they drive value creation from intellectual property based on the priorities of Umicore's businesses. Before joining Umicore, Ralf worked for ABB AG as Global Patent Officer and Group Strategic IP Manager from 2005 to 2017. He holds a Master's degree in Control Engineering from the University of Sheffield and a PhD in Production Control Engineering from the University of Clausthal.
