As the Group IP Lead at Prosus, I spearhead the group's IP strategy, manage IP risks, and protect and enforce IP assets across the globe. I support the broader digital and regulatory team, which focuses on data privacy, competition, intellectual property, and AI governance. My responsibilities include reporting to the Board on IP matters, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and maintaining competitive advantages through robust IP positions. I oversee the IP program, advise investee companies, and manage extensive IP portfolios. Additionally, I support M&A activities, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to the AI governance team.
