Head of IP/Trademarks BAUER MEDIA GROUP

Thomas is Head of IP/Trademarks at Bauer Media Group, a German-based multi-business company. Bauer Media Group is the largest European magazine publisher, the number 1 European commercial radio broadcaster, operates online comparison platforms and offers marketing services for SMEs. Thomas is responsible for the management of the group-wide trademark and domain name portfolios including the protection, defense and enforcement strategies. Prior to joining Bauer Media Group, he was in private practice at the international law firm Hogan Lovells in Hamburg, focusing on cross-border and online trademark enforcement, domain name recovery and trademark prosecution. He holds a PhD in international intellectual property law from Bucerius Law School (Hamburg) and an LL.M. in American law from Boston University School of Law.
