Desmond is a dynamic Emergency Medicine Specialist Doctor with 18 years in delivering patient-centred care and shaping emergency systems through direct policy and research work. He leads a unit which is staffed by more than 300 medical professionals. Desmond completed his basic medical and specialist training in Singapore. He received the 2020 Public Service Commission Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship and completed a joint MBA from UCLA and the National University of Singapore.
