Karim is the General Manager of MVL Firestop and possess 13 years’ experience in MENA region. He developed MVL to be a market leader in firestop products within 3 years, having presence in most region countries, and he grew its turnover by 700% in two years. Karim holds an Environmental Design and Urban Planning Pre-Masters and graduated from Ain Shams University in 2005 with an Architectural Engineering degree. He designed several mega projects in Egypt including Industrial Cities, Resorts and mixed-use buildings. Karim possesses a traceable track record and impeccable technical knowhow demonstrated in various roles within the construction industry. Karim is an expert with Construction Chemicals in Waterproofing, Old buildings restoration, Concrete Repair, Industrial Flooring, Joint Sealing Grouts, Anchors and Bonding, Tile and Natural Stone Laying Adhesives and Grouts, EIFS systems, passive fire protection and firestopping.
