As Head of Group Regulatory Management in Nordea, Johanne Daugaard Risbjerg is responsible for legal operations, regulatory change management and authority interactions across the Nordea Group.

Having worked in both the public and the private sector for more than 15 years, Mrs Risbjerg brings in extensive knowledge of financial regulation, authority interactions and non-financial risk management. As a leader Mrs. Risbjerg has broad experience in building up new teams and organizations in a cross-country and cross-functional setting. A key focus area throughout her career has been to pursue operational excellence through cross-collaboration between different professions and functions.

Since 2021, Mrs. Risbjerg has been working with legal operations in Nordea – creating a strategy for the legal function aligned with business goals, instigating collaboration across functions to address various risks, streamlining legal sourcing management, working with the legal function’s use of technology and tools to support their daily work as well as the overall development of the legal function.
