Senior Director, Puzzle Games Rovio Entertainment

Matthieu has over 15 years of immersive experience in multicultural companies. His journey began in the MMO sector in Japan and Korea before transitioning seamlessly to the burgeoning mobile gaming landscape in 2011.

A true global citizen, Matthieu spent seven transformative years in Japan. His tenure at gumi Inc. saw him ascend to leadership roles, spearheading Western studios, corporate development in the west and being instrumental to the monumental success of the JRPG sensation, Brave Frontier, among other things.

Matthieu's quest for innovation and excellence led him back to Asia, where he helmed Playlab, a Bangkok-based mobile studio that thrived back under his guidance, ultimately being acquired. His next chapter unfolded at Nordeus (now part of Take 2), where he served as Game Lead and an integral member of the Extending leadership team.

Currently, as the Live Ops Director at Rovio, specifically in the Puzzle Studio, Matthieu only orchestrates the live operations strategy but also mentors and guides Game Leads while supervising operations at the Spanish studio and supporting.
