Head of Business Development Behaviour Interactive

Business Development executive with 25+years experience in the media & entertainment industry (video games, film, music & print media) currently working in the video game industry as Head of Business Development for Behaviour Interactive, responsibilities include a.o. sales of AAA full-/co-development services for PC/console as well as mobile, sourcing and procurement of external development services, inbound and outbound licensing, as well as spearheading Behaviour Interactive‘s M&A activities in Europe. Also, active as a lecturer and teacher for video game studies with special reference to business development contexts at some of the most renowned film and games schools in Germany. Additionally working as consultant and expert for IP, licensing, transmedia and videogames industry for media and enterprise. Previous career steps & positions: started in the music industry as a tour booker with epm entertainment, later moving on to indie tour promoter target concerts, working with artists such as Alice Cooper, Slash from Guns'n'Roses, Deep Purple, Porcupine Tree, Scooter,UB40, Eminem, Lil Kim, P. Diddy, PMD, Cypress Hill, Heather Nova a.o., later as agent for German Rap star Sido and all Aggro Berlin label artists, K.I.Z., Culcha Candela, a.o. at piranha media’s event department. After a sabbatical earning a Master’s Degree in Contemporary History and writing a book on the German political strategy in the Near East during WWI, returned to piranha media to head the Film & Games department as editor-in-chief and project lead of Burger King’s customer magazine KING bringing it to its most profitable years, working with all major & indie film & games studios operating in Germany. Switched to the games industry end of 2015, working first at rcpas its Director of Business Development, a.o. responsible for the release of the popular Ostwind/Windstorm games, Das Boot VREscape & VR Demise, Pretzelland, WDR’s Meet the Miner and defining the company‘s IP strategy, i.e. with Hollywood legend Michael Bay. Joined Canada’s largest independent developer and publisher Behaviour Interactive in 2020.
