Jon Grande

Head of Product Management (PMT) Amazon Games

Jon Grande is the Head of Product Management at Amazon Games, responsible for Amazon’s 2nd party game portfolio, as well as investment in core technologies that drive Amazon’s publishing infrastructure. Games in the 2nd party portfolio include King of Meat (being developed with Glowmade), the next installment in the Tomb Raider franchise (in development with Crystal Dynamics) and an as yet unannounced product with Maverick Games. Jon has been in the games industry for over 30 years. He started in what is now the Xbox organization in 1993, when the games group at Microsoft was only ~25 people. He left in 2005 when it was over 2000 people, having worked on franchises including Flight Simulator, Age of Empires, Dungeon Siege, and Mass Effect. After Microsoft, Jon spent ~5 years in a variety of start-ups before joining PopCap Games as it was acquired by Electronic Arts. He later worked at Big Fish Games as it was acquired by Churchill Downs. Jon has been at Amazon for the past 7 years.
