Marc started his career at Bayer as a management trainee and has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry in various therapeutic fields such as cardiovascular & central nervous system medicine, urology, hormone, and antibiotic treatments. Marc has international experience in the USA, England, and most recently as Regional Marketing Head in Asia where he was responsible for Bayer's General Medicine portfolio. Marc now heads the cardiovascular department at BMS and is committed to ensuring that patients are treated or protected from thromboembolic events and that awareness and diagnosis in this area are improved. Marc holds a degree in economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has a doctorate in International Business Administration from the Bradford School of Management in England. In addition to his work, Marc is a visiting lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has published his book: Product Launch Playbook; introducing new products in the innovative healthcare industry. He is an active member of the European International Business Academy. Marc loves reading, cooking, skiing, kite surfing, go-karting, and scuba diving
