Dr. Mark Lee

Dr Mark Lee is Manager of the Dredging Group at HR Wallingford. Mark has over 20 years’ experience, covering a very wide range of dredging projects, from offshore to inland and capital dredging to aggregate dredging. Mark has worked extensively on ports and harbours projects, power projects (including nuclear), in the mining and minerals sector, the oil and gas sector and many others. The Group which Mark manages is multidisciplinary in its nature and includes specialists in dredging project design, modelling of dredging, dredging management /supervision, environmental aspects, and monitoring/survey. Mark has a strong background in Project, Group and Operations Management, having previously been employed in each of these roles. Mark’s technical specialisation is in monitoring and survey, particularly associated with Dredging. Mark has contributed to both vessel-based and land-based surveys as Party Chief, Client Representative and Surveyor.

Mark is a Board member of the Central Dredging Association and has contributed to expert panels for PIANC, CEDA, IADC and BSI.
