Rayan Al Bakri is the Head of Business Development & Key Accounts at Ports Development Co. the owners and master developers of King Abdullah Port. He has more than 18 years of experience in the shipping, logistics and ports sectors. Prior to joining King Abdullah Port, Rayan was leading the development of the Saudi transport and logistics sector at the Saudi General Investments Authority SAGIA and at one of the vision realization programs related to the development of the industrial and logistics sectors for Vision2030. Rayan had the chance to work with Globe Marine Services (Globe Group), Maersk, MSC, Gulftainer & Jeddah Bonded & re‐export zone.

Rayan received his Masters degree from Emerson College, Boston USA in communications management, Crisis & Public Diplomacy. He also attended several executive education programs in leadership, Strategy and economic development with top universities such as Wharton,Thunderbird and highly recognized global institutes.
