Dr. Vesna Dakic

Dr. Vesna Dakic is a Dipl. Eng. for motor vehicles, Magister in the field of Reliability and System Dependability/Effectiveness, and Doctor of Technical sciences in domain of Reliability Engineering. She is also graduated specialist of Environmental Technology (at AAEN), and Master of Science in Media Communication and Technology (at TU Berlin). She has 15 years of working experience in RAM/LCC engineering, during which time she acted as RAM/LCC specialist in various projects for aerospace, automotive and railways industry. In the recent years in Bombardier Transportation, she was Lead RAM/LCC engineer for Very High Speed Trains of Zefiro Family, and Reliability integrator and coordinator for train diagnostics for Very High speed train Freccia Rossa (italy), and Reliability integrator for ICx Germany and Västraffik high speed trains. Supporting development of new BT product families for (very) High speed trains, commuters, metros and acting as global senior specialist in Center of excellence Fire Safety, Product Safety and Reliability.

She is the author of the accepted patent in railway industry for avoidance of axles blockages at bogies. In 2014 at the Applied Reliability Symposium (ARS) in Paris she won a golden medal for best presentation. From 2015 is also constant member of tutorial presenters for RAMS Symposium/USA.
