Walter Eckerlin holds a diploma in Mathematics and Economic Sciences and a Bachelor in Business Administration.

He worked 25 years in the field of Air Traffic Management (Flight and radar data processing and navigation systems) of which about 8 years were as Safety Manager.

Fort he last 7 years he has been working as Product Safety Assurance Manager for Bombardier and as well as in different CENELEC working group,  especially in those regarding EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50657.
