Supply Chain professional with very large expertise reaching from S&OP and Inventory management, over order fulfillment process, distribution network design, to transport and site logistics operations. This expertise has been build in several business domains : as well within technical commodities as within Food, Feed , pharma and FMCG environment. Several innovations developed, implemented and rewarded by management or APICS.

From 2015 until now, Alan is the Global Supply Chain Director GBU Soda Ash and derivatives, Sr VP for Solvay and he is currently in charge of:

·         Functional area covering customer care, S&OP, logistics contracts, site logistics operations (process) - 400 M€ spend

·         Manage the move from a regional organisation to a balanced worldwide organisation allowing business to grow further close to its customers.

·         Complete review of S&OP process including reinforcement of team, review of full process including improved interaction with main stakeholders and introduction of new software to support strategic and tactical S&OP level.

·         Focus on competitiveness (Excellence program generating 40 M€ saving on 400 M€ spend over 3 years time), customer focus (define and measure service levels, reduce complaint ratio, serving new business needs in remote countries) and increased agility (business continuity, ability to drive a supply chain that can answer to all kind of events)
