In the evolving field of Trust & Safety, women’s contributions, challenges, and needs often remain underexplored. This presentation seeks to illuminate the unique experiences and perspectives of women in T&S, drawing upon data from a recent roundtable discussion with 35 women, alongside past industry events with more than 80 women, including “Women in Trust & Safety’’ ‘birds of a feather’ event in TrustCon. By examining what draws women into T&S and what keeps them there, the unique advantages and challenges women face in Trust & Safety, and the support they need to thrive, this session aims to propose some keys to foster a more inclusive, effective, and diverse T&S professional community.
