Luca Castellini

R&D Manager UMBRA Cuscinetti S.p.A.

Luca Castellini is the R&D and BD Manager of UMBRAGROUP Energy Unit. He is working on the innovation for electric vehicle powertrains and PTO systems for wave energy converters. He graduated (M.Sc) in aerospace electronic engineering from the University of Perugia, Italy, in 2002 and later he graduated (B.Sc) in electrical engineering from the University of L’Aquila, Italy, in 2014. In 2006, he joined UMBRAGROUP, leading research and innovation of electromechanical systems. Since 2007 he has been involved in several international research projects focused on aerospace/automotive and energy topics.
