Lead Expert Geotechnical / Foundation Engineer RWE

I am a highly motivated and engaged foundation designer with 11 years of experience, the past 8 years focusing on the offshore wind sector specialising in geotechnical and earthquake engineering. My experience covers monopile and jacket foundations for offshore wind turbines in project phases from concept design and FEED to detailed design and installation follow-up. I possess expertise in soil investigations and the determination of design parameters, encompassing advanced factors essential for developing 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and constitutive models. My comprehension of structural dynamics and foundational steel design facilitates smooth collaboration with fellow project stakeholders, ensuring a coherent exchange of information throughout the process. At the moment, Pooyan is the Lead Geotechnical expert at RWE. taking care of the geotechnical technical delivery of different projects and research and innovation activities in the global RWE portfolio.
