Matthias Graefe is the Transformation Executive responsible to lead IBM’s global supply chain into the cognitive Era. His goal and passion is to augment IBM's supply chain professionals through data and technologies such as Analytics, AI, IoT and Blockchain. Matthias runs a global team of supply chain subject matter experts, agile scrum masters, data scientists and AI developers.
Prior to his transformation role Matthias gained execution experience in multiple supply chain operational leadership roles in Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe rotating through supply chain domains including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply demand planning as well as customer fulfillment.
Matthias has more than 22 years experience in supply chain management, he is a certified Consulting Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) and a recognized speaker at Supply Chain Summits. Matthias obtained a Master in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
